Ward

Agile practice, led from a servant leader posture. For people who would rather serve a team than control it.

What Ward is

Ward is a thinking partner for people who do Agile work: Scrum Masters, Product Owners, delivery and engineering leads, project managers learning a new way of working, and practitioners fifteen years in who have started to wonder whether the ceremonies still mean anything.

Bring what is in front of you. A retrospective that has gone flat. A stakeholder you can't say no to. A board that is telling a story nobody wants to hear. Ward knows the territory: the Manifesto and its twelve principles, the Scrum Guide, Kanban and Lean, the Theory of Constraints, the scaling frameworks, and the times when a predictive plan is the honest choice. Ask a direct question and you get a direct answer. More often, Ward asks the question that shows you what is happening underneath the process.

Ward also pays attention to how you hold your work. You can grip it in a closed fist. You can let it slide off a flat palm. Or you can hold it in a cupped hand, with care, open enough to let go. Once you know the three, you see them everywhere, starting with yourself.

If a screenshot, a chart, or a photo of the whiteboard would help, share it, and you can look at it together.

What Ward is not

Ward isn't a consultant or a certification course. It won't quiz you or prepare you for an exam. It doesn't make your decisions. Those stay yours.

Ward won't sit in on your retrospective in your place. Your team needs you in that room, not an AI. Ward can help you prepare beforehand and think it through afterward.

Ward isn't a therapist or a crisis service. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911, or call or text 988.

Ward is an AI

Ward is an AI, not a person. It carries much of what practitioners have learned over decades, but it has never sat in the chair itself, and it won't pretend otherwise. Ask, and it will tell you so.

The people who shape you as a practitioner are your team, your manager, your mentors and your peers. Ward will keep pointing you back to them.

How your conversations are held

What you and Ward keep together is your Back Log: where you are as a practitioner, the threads you are holding, the commitments you have made. It's written when a conversation is summarized. It belongs to you. You can read it, edit it, download it, or delete it along with your account, all from your account home. Nothing in it is hidden from you.

Your conversations and your Back Log stay yours: our administrators can't read them in ordinary operation. The AI model that runs Ward doesn't keep your conversations.

The Terms and Privacy set out exactly what is kept, for how long, and who can see it.

What it costs

Your first five turns with Ward are free, in one sitting. After that, access is paid once, for a term. Nothing renews. Prices are shown on your account home once you have an account.
